Cookies on Moniqo
This page describes what cookies Moniqo uses. It's the plain-English version of what our consent banner says when you first visit. Last updated 28 May 2026.
What we use today
One essential cookie: the session cookie set by our authentication system so we can keep you signed in. It's HTTP-only, secure, and same-site — readable only by Moniqo, never by other sites or third-party scripts.
Google Analytics — public pages only, and only with your consent: if you choose Accept all, our public marketing pages (moniqo.me) load Google Analytics so we can understand which content helps. It never runs inside the app (app.moniqo.me), where your financial data lives, and every advertising signal is explicitly disabled. Choose Essential only and it is never loaded at all.
What we don't use
- No analytics or third-party JavaScript inside the app itself.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social-media tracking pixels.
- No analytics of any kind without your explicit consent.
Your choice
The first time you visit Moniqo you see a consent banner with two clear choices:
- Essential only — the default if you dismiss the banner. Only the session cookie above; no analytics anywhere.
- Accept all — allows Google Analytics on the public marketing pages, as described above.
We'll only ever add a non-essential cookie if you've accepted it explicitly, and we'll update this page (and re-prompt the banner) before any change.
Changing your choice
Use the Manage cookies link in the site footer to reopen the banner and change your selection at any time. Clearing your browser cookies for moniqo.me also resets the choice.
Browser controls
You can also disable cookies entirely in your browser. If you do, you won't be able to stay signed in to Moniqo (the session cookie is required to use the app), but you can still read the marketing pages.
